How to play :
Place the chess pieces on the board, once you have placed a piece they will mark their territory in red. If they see anyone else step on their territory they will murder them! Once 4 of the same pieces has been placed they will decide to move on and unclaim all of their territory. You can only pick the next piece from the lower right, and be careful these chess pieces are impatient, you only have 6 seconds to decide their next home!

Good concept but I think it's cooked. The configuration (in FEN)

can't lose as long as you leave one of a8, b7, c6 (or e1, e2, h2) open. Whenever you get a fourth knight just place it on whichever one you left open.
edit: Wait, you actually fit four of every piece on the board, so you don't even need to make any choices.

When I try to launch it from the Itch client it gives me this error.
Sorry about that, I forgot to change the compression settings. I can't change it now because it's currently in a voting process of a game jam, I will be make sure to fix it after the jam is done. Meanwhile I think there is no problem if you play it in a browser, apologies for the inconvenience!

Very unique idea! It would be interesting to see this idea expanded on, maybe with different board layouts, etc
